About Us

Heritage Montessori School has been working to educate young children in our community since 1985. Over the years, hundreds of children have come through our doors. When they left they were more confident, independent individuals.

In August, 2011 Heritage Montessori Preschool & Kindergarten expanded to offer an elementary program (grades one through six).

There was a need in the community to care for younger children. In February 2023 we opened our infant center. We care for children 6 weeks through 2 years of age.

We work in partnership with parents to provide an individualized educational program for every child. Our community outreach programs enable us to stay active in and connected to the greater community, and help the children develop a sense of respect and consideration for those around them.

Heritage Montessori School is a community of children, families, and staff members working together to create a positive and nurturing environment to support learning and personal growth. We provide a Montessori approach to education that offers both freedom and structure, so that each child may learn at their own pace and reach his or her maximum potential.

Heritage Montessori School was built with a child’s needs in mind. It combines a beautiful, child-sized environment indoors and an inviting park-like outdoor setting. Our philosophy begins with a belief that each child comes to us with unlimited potential and must be treated with respect. 

Our goal is to assist the children in the development of their concentration, coordination, independence, order, self-esteem, self-discipline, and critical thinking skills while helping them cultivate a true love of learning.
