Our Staff
Our teaching staff have each earned a Teacher-Child Development Permit granted by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Our staff attend on-going workshops and trainings in early childhood education.

Ms. Denise Campos has been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2005. She has attained her B.S. Degree in Child and Adolescent Development from California State University, Fullerton. Ms. Campos currently holds a Director Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. She is Montessori Certified through NAMC.

Ms. Teresa White has been an early childhood educator for over 18 years, all of which have been here at Heritage Montessori School. Ms. White has attained her Montessori credentials through NAMC. She is in the process of receiving her Site Supervisor Permit throuh the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

She has been married for over 22 years with 5 children. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Ms. Maricela Leon is a Lead Teacher at our Infant Center. She started working at Heritage Montessori School in 2023, and has experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-age. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from UABC in Mexico, and is currently pursuing an AS in Early Childhood Education at Cerro Co
Ms. Maricela Leon is a Lead Teacher at our Infant Center. She started working at Heritage Montessori School in 2023, and has experience working with children of all ages, from infants to school-age. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from UABC in Mexico, and is currently pursuing an AS in Early Childhood Education at Cerro Coso Community College. Ms. Maricela loves observing the infants at the center as they reach their developmental milestones and discover the world around them. She is passionate about providing enriching early learning experiences and working together with families to provide the best care and education for the children. Outside of work, Ms. Maricela enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and their puppy.
